What it is: The business offers an alternative to going to an attorney’s office for preparation of legal document preparation. We help consumers stay in control of their financial and legal matters while saving them thousands of dollars, said Annette Gomez, owner and manager. Services include document preparation of living trust, divorce, custody, support and visitation, bankruptcy, probate, eviction, adoption and other court documents. The business also offers independent paralegal services to attorneys. Clients may receive referrals to qualified attorneys when they need legal advice or representation.

When it’s open: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Later hours and Saturday hours are available by appointment.

Where it is: 7710 Limonite Ave., Suite N, Riverside.About the owner: Gomez, 46, began her business 10 years ago out of her home in order to be closer to her young son.

About five years ago, she moved her growing company into an office. She’s a bonded and registered legal document assistant and independent paralegal. She holds a bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate. She was recently re-elected secretary of the California Association of Legal Document Assistants and is interim president of the Inland Empire chapter. Gomez is a member of the National Association of Legal Document Preparers and former advisory board member or Maric College’s legal assistant program in Pomona.
